Alone in this Journey

It is hard sometimes, when you feel like you're alone in this whole struggle to find God.

Treading into unknown ground, not knowing where to start or how to start.

Having no one to guide you but yourself and your trust that God is bringing you to the right path.

When your own family believes that you're going down the wrong way and they're being told to pull you back.

When the rest of your friends aren't interested at all in talks of religion (who would, when they can talk about other things more exciting?)

When they too have prejudices and assumptions when you tell them your choice in path.

And the hardest of all...

When the pillar you've always relied on for support starts to shake, and you realise that you might end up even more alone at the end.

Yes, God is with me, but it'd be nice to have someone here too.
