Why is the Qur'an a Miracle from God?

Uncle S pasted to me a quote from Surah Al Alaq (96:1-2) today.

اقْرَأْ بِاسْمِ رَبِّكَ الَّذِي خَلَقَ.خَلَقَ الْإِنسَانَ مِنْ عَلَقٍ

Read in the name of your Master who created. Created man from a Clinging Clot - that Sucks blood (from the mother like a Leech).

when I saw it I went ohohoho! because it reminded me of another quote in Surah Al-Muminun (23:12-14)

And certainly did We create man from an extract (essence) of clay.

Then We placed him as a sperm-drop in a firm lodging.

Then We made the sperm-drop into a clinging clot, and We made the clot into a lump [of flesh], and We made [from] the lump, bones, and We covered the bones with flesh; then We developed him into another creation. So blessed is Allah , the best of creators.

Keep in mind this was written 1435 years ago, where there were no x-ray tools or ultrasound to tell how Man was made. These quotes were actually really meaningful to me, because it really did prove that the Quran came from God. Otherwise how else would it be known, and how could it have been so detailed?

With my very limited Turkish I tried to have a conversation with him on the other scientific miracles of the Quran. One of my other favorites (and something I never knew!) was this quote:

Have We not made the earth as a bed, and the mountains as pegs? (78:6-7)

Mountain, a peg?

Yeah, I didn't know mountains had roots, but apparently the Quran knew. Would the people of the past have known, without the knowledge of modern science?

And a few more:

He has set free the two seas meeting together. There is a barrier between them. They do not transgress. (55:19-20)

He is the one who has set free the two kinds of water, one sweet and palatable, and the other salty and bitter. And He has made between them a barrier and a forbidding partition. (25:53)

Have you not seen how God makes the clouds move gently, then joins them together, then makes them into a stack, and then you see the rain come out of it.... (24:43)

And I thought rain just comes from like a flat stack of very dense clouds. hahaha.

All the pictures here were taken from this website which also explained the scientific miracles in the Quran very well. I'm pretty sure there are still more. Who said miracles only have to be in action? Why can't it be in literature and knowledge as well? God works in so many ways. Obviously, we're discounting him if we have our own definition of what a miracle is.

Anyway, on a side note, it was a really interesting topic to be talking about with uncle S, just that I got somewhat lost in the sea of Turkish words and an unhelpful Google Translate.
